David Salmon, Founder and President of the Worthy Group of Companies, grew up in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on southern Vancouver Island, BC. His entrepreneurial spirit emerged early; at just 17, he started his first real estate venture, Worthy Island Investments Inc., now known as Worthy Real Estate Investments. David envisioned creating a brand focused on helping individuals achieve homeownership and financial independence. Originally, Worthy began as a consulting business in sales, marketing, and finance in his hometown of Lake Cowichan.

Over the past 24 years, the Worthy Team has successfully guided thousands of clients in making informed real estate investments and providing consulting for projects of all sizes. David later founded Worthy Developments, a licensed 2/5/10 New Home Warranty builder, where he constructed numerous custom homes before selling the business to pursue his dream project: revitalizing the historic town of Paldi. His vision is to create The Elk Ridge Community, a sustainable, master-planned development that fosters empowerment. Throughout his career, David has managed hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate assets.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, David is deeply devoted to his family and committed to giving back. For over 15 years, he has volunteered extensively, coaching and supporting individuals facing cancer and other terminal illnesses, guiding them toward holistic health through detoxification and organic nourishment.
